INTERREGIONAL INNOVATION INVESTMENTS: €67 MILLION ALLOCATED FOR STRANDS 1 AND 2a

The European Commission has published a call for proposals under the instrument Interregional Innovation Investments (I3), with the main objective of supporting interregional investment portfolios of companies that bring innovation to the market. The calls are organized into two strands:

Strand 1 – Financial and advisory support for investments in interregional innovation projects: is aimed at consortia made up of innovation players from regions with different levels of development and innovative performance, but with shared and complementary areas of specialization, ready to invest in interregional innovation projects.
Strand 2a – Financial and advisory support to the development of value chains in less developed regions: Focuses on cross-regional investments in innovation, aimed at improving value chains in less developed regions.

The funds available for 2024 are equal to €31 million for Strand 1 ea €36 million for Strand 2a. The deadline for submitting your proposal through the EU Funding & Tenders Portal is set at December 5, 2024. For more information: info@iniziativa.cc Image: European Commission
