Available resources: €300 million to support the development or manufacturing of critical technologies or safeguard and strengthen their value chains in the areas identified by the STEP Regulation.
Who can participate? Companies of all sizes, with at least 2 filed balance sheets and a production site in the Southern regions (Molise, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia).
Fundable projects: New production units; Expansion of production capacity; Reconversion or restructuring of an existing production unit.
Sectors involved:
- digital technologies and deeptech innovation;
- clean and resource-efficient technologies, including net-zero emission technologies;
- biotechnology, including medicinal products included in the Union list of critical medicinal products.
Eligible Expenses: a) company land and its arrangements (max 10% of the investment); b) masonry and similar works (max 40% of the investment); c) machinery, systems and various equipment; e) computer programs, patents, licenses, know-how and technical knowledge (max 50% of the investment for Large Enterprises). f) consultancy related to the project (for SMEs only and for a maximum of 4% of the project).
facilitation: Non-repayable contribution up to 55% for projects from 5 to 20 million euros.
