A concrete signal is coming for those who invest in the South: the 2026 Budget Bill provides for the extension of the Single ZES tax credit until 2028.
An expected turning point, which marks the transition from a "time-based" measure to structural tool for the development of the South, no longer as an emergency or time-limited measure.
The resources expected:
With a total endowment of over €4 billion, the resources are distributed as follows:
- 2026: € 2,3 billion
- 2027: €1 billion
- 2028: € 750 million
