🎨 In his valuable speech “The economy in culture, culture in the economy”, Pierluigi Sacco, a cultural economist and Professor of Biobehavioral Economics, emphasizes that integrating culture, creativity, and art into production processes is not a mere embellishment, but a competitive lever: "culturalization" introduces new meanings, new ways of creating value, and helps companies stand out in markets driven by identity and experience. This transformation requires vision, training, and policies capable of recognizing culture as an economic infrastructure.
This perspective highlights how cultural content, identity, and creativity can become central elements of more solid, innovative business models capable of attracting investment and new market opportunities.
It is in this direction that it moves EDIH Heritage Smart Lab (HSL), the European Digital Innovation Hub for the cultural and creative sector, co-financed by European Commission e Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, which supports companies in adopting digital solutions and innovative models based on technologies, content, and cultural capital.
Iniziativa, as an HSL partner, supports cultural and creative SMEs and start-ups with subsidized services dedicated to growth and investment readiness: business modeling & pre-feasibility, access to private capital (Early Stage, Seed, VC), economic-financial feasibility studies, and crowdfunding support.
