Single Market Programme: €6.9 million available to strengthen the sustainable competitiveness of SMEs in the tourism sector.

Proposals can be submitted for the call 'Supporting sustainable competitiveness of tourism SME' (SMP-COSME-2026-TOURSME-01) under the Single Market Programme, the EU programme aimed at helping the single market reach its full potential and ensuring Europe's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The initiative aims to strengthen the sustainable competitiveness of SMEs in the tourism sector through the creation of thematic and/or geographical tourist itineraries and the development of associated tourism ecosystems.

The overall budget is EUR 6,9 million and it is expected that they will be financed 5 projects.

Proposals must be submitted by a consortium composed of the following:

  • minimum five and maximum eight independent entities
  • minimum three destination management organizations from at least 2 different eligible countries.
  • minimum two business support organizations from at least 2 different eligible countries

The deadline for submitting proposals is May 20, 2026.
