On March 18, 2026, the decree activating a new call for proposals "Sustainable Investments 4.0" was signed, following the decrees of February 10, 2022, May 15, 2023, and November 22, 2024.
The measure is aimed at supporting the technological and digital transition, improve the competitiveness and encourage sustainability of SMEs through innovative investments.
đź’°Financial endowment: 447,6 million euro
🔍 Beneficiaries: SMEs with manufacturing and business services activities, at least two approved and filed balance sheets and operational headquarters in the less developed regions (Molise, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia)
🎯 Eligible investments: Programs that foresee the creation, through the use of enabling technologies, of innovative, sustainable investments and with high technological content and consistent with the national Transition 4.0 plan
🔧 Eligible Expenditures: From 750.000 euros to 5 million euros:
- machinery, plants and equipment
- masonry works, up to 40%
- computer programs and licenses
- environmental and energy efficiency certifications
- advanced specialist consultancy services, up to 5%
- energy diagnosis consultancy services

- Contribution to plant account equal to 35 %
- Concessionary financing equal to 40 %
